Paragone Solutions is seeking a Cloud Security SME to oversee the design and implementation of secure cloud solutions and services, working closely with stakeholders, Program Management Office (PMO) and client technical teams. This role is based on site in Ft. Belvoir, VA and the qualified candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance.

*Position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Serves as an IA Subject Matter Expert (SME) with regards to IA Architecture policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for guiding the design and implementation of secure solutions and services within the cloud.
  • Driving the successful configuration and implementation of cloud-based security solutions to reduce risk to an acceptable level.
  • Ensures that the stakeholder security requirements necessary to protect the organization’s mission and business processes are adequately addressed in all aspects of enterprise architecture including reference models, segment and cloud solution architectures, and the resulting systems supporting those missions and business processes.
  • Provides IA Management support to Program Management Offices (PMO) for emerging information systems through the acquisition lifecycle and where applicable into sustainment.
  • Provides technical support and guidance to facilitate the identification and integration of IA controls at the onset of the acquisition lifecycle for emerging cloud capabilities.
  • IA controls in concert with the agency IA and cloud architecture and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) security guidelines.
  • Provides oversight for the design and implementation of Enterprise-level IA solutions providing standards for access control capabilities across the Enterprise.
  • Serves as a principal liaison for Enterprise-level boundary defense initiatives to ensure consistent and sufficient identification and implementation of applicable.
  • Considered an emerging authority, who applies extensive technical experience.
  • Develops technical solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to perform and speak regarding log analysis, use of IDS, IPS, and/or other signature technology.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd -level troubleshooting support for security applications and appliances.
  • Provide threat and vulnerability analysis security advisory services.
  • Performs information security assessments or audits of internal networks and systems.
  • Serves as team lead, driving goals and performance for Level 1 and Level 2 Cyber Defense Analysts.
  • Be a leader in the expansion and growth of the Cloud Cybersecurity Defense Center.
  • Collaborate with client technical teams for issue resolution and mitigation.
  • To integrate information and network security solutions.
  • To analyze various methods of controlling information security problems, determine the strengths and weaknesses of each method and implement the best cost justified solution.
  • To identify weak links in information security products, and determine how to
    mitigate the control deficiencies.
Requirements
  1. TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  2. CISSP certification or equivalent experience.
  3. DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical 3 (IAT Level 3 or IAM Level 3) certified.
  4. Foundational Cloud Certification.
  5. ITIL v3 Foundations or equivalent.
  6. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field preferred.
